In most parts of the country, December brings lots of exciting activities: building snowmen, snowball fights, sledding, staying warm beside a cozy fireplace, and drinking plenty of hot chocolate. However, in Hawaii you will find surfing, snorkeling, beach volleyball, sunset catamaran rides and sitting pool side with a chilled Mai Tai (at Rum Fire of course). Oh and don’t forget College Football Bowl season, in Hawaii it’s the Sheraton Hawaii Bowl.
In December, the average high temperature in New York is 42, Denver is 48, and San Francisco is 59 degrees Fahrenheit. If you want to escape the bitter cold winter weather, find your way to the Hawaiian Islands during this time.
